This section is designed to help parents and students understand what to expect at The Writer’s Place and how our creative writing classes can support your child’s learning journey.

We specialise in English creative writing classes for Primary 1 to 6 students (Paper 1 “Continuous Writing”). Our curriculum is aligned with the latest MOE syllabus and focuses on exam-readiness, structured writing techniques, vocabulary enhancement, and creative expression. (Paper 1 consists of (a) Situational Writing 14 marks (b) Continuous Writing 36 marks)

3. Vista Point (Woodlands)

Our curriculum is fully aligned with the latest MOE syllabus, ensuring students learn what is relevant for school and PSLE English. Our curriculum team continuously monitors trends, updates, and commonly-tested topics, so lessons remain current, effective, and tailored to help students excel in English composition writing.

Each class has a maximum of 12 students. Each lesson is 1 hour and 45 minutes long. Our flexible hybrid lessons allow students to attend at the centre or online. As students have collected their worksheets in advance, students can simply join the class via Zoom at the same timing.

Make Up Lesson within the same week. If student is unable to attend his scheduled timing, he can opt to attend an existing available timeslot within the same week (max. 3 times per term, subjected to availability) Lesson cycle is from Tuesday to Saturday. *For full T&C, kindly check with centre.

4. Lessons run from January to early December without any breaks. There will be 3 weeks of break in December.
